Do not premix the deadener in any part A or B of the Platsil Gel, as this might result an inhibition of the curing process.

Platsil Deadener LV is an additiv for all Platsil Gels. It is used to simulate the look and feel of skin or human tissue for silicone gel filled appliances and special effects. Its very low viscosity helps creating pourable silicone mixes with excellent deaerating porperties. Therefore, its the deadener of choice for casting or injecting large or very complicated pieces.

Deadener LV may be added at levels up to 300% of the total mixed weight of Part A Part B. A test cure should be performed to determine the proper amount to add for individual applications. If substituting LV for Smith’s Deadener or vice versa, you will need to adjust your ratios as their softening effect differs between the two products.
